Turning off USB Debugging does not change the problem, unfortunately.

Apparently that didn't solve the issue because it continually crashes, freezes, and generally refuses to cooperate when moving files. Not sure why this seems to be the case.

Wiping the directory entirely seemed to do the trick. It'll take a while to get the library back on there, but it's certainly worth the hassle. Thank you for your help!

That's correct, this is the same directory on the phone, unmodified other than other files that were copied to it in the past.

I am in the process of trying to update my music library on my S9, and any time I attempt to copy files to it, I am unable to because the file manager freezes and crashes each time it is used. I have MTP transfer enabled, along with USB debugging, and it doesn't work. The file managers crash...
