All, Giving up on a long term relationship with my A15. The AOD appears to have serious restrictions on what it can post to the lock screen. My previous Samsung S5 had an independent LED to notify when a message is received. No jabookee with AOD constraints. Are there any cell phones that...

"It lights it up briefly to notify you..." No it does not. AOD is not enabled on the A15. The edge lighting selections are demo'd when you select one, but the screen saver does not show it.

"missing edge lighting..." I mispoke, the edge lighting can be defined/selected but it does NOT affect the screen saver. Once again, Samsung logic escapes this Luddite.

I believe I have confirmed that AOD is NOT available on the A15. This negates the alerts I am looking for. Thank you to all that tried to help.
