Make sure you don't have any apps installed that are meant to wake the screen that are going rogue. Sometimes apps like "always on display" apps from the Play Store can wake and sleep your phone for no apparent reason.

I have noticed this too. It happens to me also on every reboot. However, there has been no side effect at all. Texting and calling still work fine. Is anything else happening because of IMS stopping?

Have you tried a factory reset? Shut down your phone, then press and hold the power, home, and volume up buttons. Follow the instructions on screen to factory reset your phone.

Perhaps you can use a custom keyboard instead? I highly recommend SwiftKey keyboard.

I have tried using vr and other apps that require tilting or moving my Galaxy J3, and I received a similar message. A sensor box shows that the 2016 J3 does not come with 3 sensors that some of those apps need.

Are they notifications from other apps?

Go to the phone app and click favorites. Then click add, and find the contact you want to make favorite.
