Either I got very lucky, or all of these reviewers got unlucky (or a bad early batch)

It's just that for some of us that have been reading this forum for a few weeks wonder what your real perspective is. On October 19th you announced in this forum, by starting a new thread, that you had decided to not buy a Nexus 9, but instead, you had bought a Nividia Shield Tablet. In that...

Either I got very lucky, or all of these reviewers got unlucky (or a bad early batch)

After 36 hours of owning the Nexus 9, I'd say it's worth a serious look. Don't listen too much to some of the people in here. Take a look at more of the serious reviews, and decide for yourself. There's nothing seriously wrong with the Nexus 9.

Either I got very lucky, or all of these reviewers got unlucky (or a bad early batch)

I think that the tablet market is pretty far along. Most of us in here and elsewhere have positive memories of our first tablet purchases. I own a iPad 2 that I bought in June 2011. That was a great purchase, if one considers what I spent, and how much use and enjoyment I got out of it. Then 15...

Nexus 9 : Owners sound off with your own reviews and thoughts.

In some ways I like my Nexus 10 better. I can lie down and rest the Nexus 10 in portait mode on my chest, and it's so tall, the top part of the screen is in just the right place. The 9 is something that you almost need to hold up in the air. But we will see if the Nexus 9 runs more reliably. The...

Anyone else disappointed by the Nexus 9?

That's right, the N10 doesn't have wireless charging, but I can easily hook up the pogo charger to my N10 at 3am in the morning, in the dark. It won't be a big problem, but I am not looking forward to having to turn on the light by my bed, carefully examine the USB connector, and plug it into my...

Nexus 9 Tablet: Pre Order Thread. Are you getting one?

It would be nicer if we could agree, but quite frankly, I have doubts about all that. I'd "anticipate" that it will be out of stock, but that might be wrong too. But the most likely scenario is that it won't be out of stock, and it won't be selling at a discount either, until at least February.

Nexus 9 Tablet: Pre Order Thread. Are you getting one?

Ouf, at first I thought, "yes". Then I was hesitating because there's only charging by the USB cable. But now I am seeing the way I am looking at this thing, and more and more it's looking like I will certainly get one. I own a Nexus 10. I looked a lot at the Nexus 7, version 2013. Not because...

iPad Air 2 vs. Nexus 9

As I said to another person that asked the same sort of question, 9 months ago... 6 days of the week I download a .zip file from the newspaper "Le Monde". I unzip this file, and extract the 2 or 3 .pdf files in it to a directory. These "daily" directories are all sub-directories of "monthly"...

Anyone else disappointed by the Nexus 9?

I like wireless charging because my experience is that the sort of connections that cable chargers need, they are the sort of things that break after a few years.

Google Nexus 9 I will miss the pogo charger on the Nexus 10

The pogo charger on the Nexus 10 was a good thing. Eventually I figured out that one side of it was indented, and I could feel the indent with my hand, even at 3am in the morning, in the dark. Finding the correct side on the tablet, I could do that too, by touch. Like lots of people, my tablet...

Anyone else disappointed by the Nexus 9?

If it was a ten inch 4:3 screen, with the same CPU and GPU, then I would be really enthusiastic about it. But even so, even if I am already happy with my Nexus 10, I am going to buy this Nexus 9, I think. But then when I realize there will soon be Broadwell / Intel Core M machines coming out, I...

    Arrrrrgh! Screenshots are very frustrating

I guess the first problem was that I didn't know that it wouldn't happen instantly. You have to wait 2 or 3 seconds. The second problem is that I didn't know it's important to start pressing both buttons at the same instant. You can't start pressing one, then the other, a half second later. You...

    Arrrrrgh! Screenshots are very frustrating

Actually, it's an issue for me too. I have never figured out how to do it right. A few times by accident I have done a screen shot, but all my attempts to do it intentionally have failed.

Are you still waiting a new Nexus 10?

In any case, after 6 months of ownership, I can really say that I adore my Nexus 10. When I try to go back to using my iPad 2, I see, right away, how much better I like the Nexus 10. It was money well spent.

Are you still waiting a new Nexus 10?

I have my Nexus 10, since last August. But I am just amazed at how often I check this forum to see if there is any new news about a new Nexus 10. Maybe I am just bored. But I am starting to wonder if there will never be any new Nexus 10. Maybe they made a deal with Samsung to get out of the...
