    Angry Birds Star Wars version

I enjoy playing Angry Birds and the new Star Wars edition is the best ever in my opinion. It is hard to put down my Nexus 7 while playing this game. Check it out and enjoy!

Anyone Switching Over to the Surface RT?

I'm not interesting. It's too big, too expensive, and it's main feature is a keyboard cover? I find using a stylus or the voice commands on the Nexus 7 more than adequate. It's far from a desktop replacement. For the money, I would just buy a good laptop. I would be surprised if it is a sell out...

Is the Playbook better than the Nexus 7..how?

My sentiments exactly. And RIM has nobody to blame but themselves. As an example, Angry Birds cost $.99 in the Google store and Amazon. I can use almost all of the Android apps I purchased on Amazon on my Nexus 7. In contrast, I had to purchase the app again. Angry Birds was around $5 I recall...

Is the Playbook better than the Nexus 7..how?

I owned a PB16B and I would disagree with you in part that the PB is a POS. I have since sold it. My beef was the lack of apps in the Blackberry app store. The ones they do have cost way more than their Android equivalent. There were few developers writing any new apps. It lacked many of my...

Is the Playbook better than the Nexus 7..how?

First, what are your doing surfing the Playbook forum? I bought a Playbook when the price dropped to $199. I have since sold it. I can't fault the hardware of the PB. The HD rear facing camera was awesome. The operating system, QNX, was top notch - smooth, fast, and easy to use. It had HDMI...

If you really like your nexus 7...

The N7 is convenient to use to check email, web browse, check Facebook and Twitter activity. I also use Pulse for news of interest. I have several games I like. I watch webcams of places around the globe. And I have used it to place video calls to family and friends. Occasionally, I will watch a...

Next Update for Nexus 7...your thoughts?

I have been just opening and closing the case cover - works every time. I sure hope they patch this problem soon as it is getting annoying. ---------- Post Merged at 03:16 PM ---------- Previous Post was at 03:06 PM ---------- I totally agree with you about the icon sizes. Even with the huge...

Lack of "ad-hoc" Wi-Fi is Android tablets Number 1 issue

Android is an open source OS, and as such presents more security risks than Apple's iOS which is controlled by Apple. Companies are concerned about security for trade secrets, personnel files, marketing strategy, financial transactions, internal memos, etc. Companies err on the side of caution...

Best Tablet UI for N7? Chameleon Launcher is too expensive

All the Android tablets so far have emulated Microsoft and Apple's desktop icon themes. Chameleon is a unique product and I like its menu screen more than all the tiny icons all over the place. It is more aesthetically pleasing. I was a little shocked at first at the $10 price. There are few...

    Chameleon Launcher/Homescreen

Beta 9.5 Release Candidate is out! The final version appears to be close. I pre-ordered Chameleon and installed the beta because I liked the concept and look. However, I am waiting for the final release to switch. I have enough problems with buggy software without adding another one. Chameleon...

Wow. How's Google going to beat new HD Kindle Fire at $159?

I sold my Kindle Fire for a Nexus 7. It has a lot of features the original Fire didn't have. Because it has a microphone and camera I can place conference calls. I got a Google Voice cell phone number and can make calls all over for free. I love the voice commands which I use for searching and...

Received 7 defective Nexus 7's and Google is now refusing RMA's

Re: Received 7 defective Nexus 7's and Google is now refusing RMA I'm surprised this thread is still alive!

    Screen protector--- hate em??

I gave up on them a long time ago. No matter how careful I am, there are always bubbles. Now I use a stylus that works great. With a stylus, the screen stays clean and I don't worry about scratches anymore. I have tried a stylus on a number of different tablets and the Nexus works the best.

Next Update for Nexus 7...your thoughts?

Maybe Google is waiting to see if Apple will come after them like they did Samsung. But I do wish they would fix the unresponsive touch screen issue. It is annoying having to open and close the case to fix the problem. Is appears to be a software issue.
