Exchanged at independent store in Minneapolis today. I have come away with a lot more empathy for them. No one told them specifics about how to do this. No one told them if they were supposed to do exchanges for ANYONE, or just for people who bought there. No one told them if they were supposed...

I have a chat transcript that says Spring and Samsung DO NOT REQUIRE ANYTHING BUT THE PHONE. Period. They can not require you to return the accessories. They really can't. Samsung doesn't want them, and it's THEIR recall.

Sprint told me that any corporate store should swap phones. I have a chat transcript. I don't know if I believe it, but that's what they said. I asked them to please repeat it, saved the chat.

I have TWO chat transcripts from Sprint that say this shouldn't be necessary. So irritating.

All of you people who couldn't wait and bullied your way into a phone replacement and are now trying to reverse it to get a phone from a store...you are the worst. Just the worst.

Ludicrous. They've already made 2.5 million units. They aren't moving on from that. We'll get our phones, though we will have overpaid for them once they knock a hundred and fifty bucks off to get people to buy them at Christmas. That's that. We'll have new phones by the end of the month.

Sprint told me I could go to ANY corporate store to do an exchange when the time comes. Period. I was advised to print out the chat session and bring it in if they gave me any guff.

Same problem. I don't get it.
