Looking forward to "hopefully" a Razer 2. I currently use the Razer and really enjoying it. I will take a look at the next Note.

Re: cases? Just a side item if you are looking for minimal, the Vaja leather back for the iPhone 7+ will fit the back of the Razer. Takes care of the camera bump too :)

I have a set of Puro IEM-500. When I get a call while listening to music (Google or Amazon)'my normal ringtone plays through the headset. Running on ATT using Nova Prime.

I'm rocking on 5.1.1. with Nova Prime and encryption on (not KNOX) and it is working very well. Unless there are some earth shattering benefits MM is a meh. Almost every upgrade AT&T tries to turn all their crapware back on. Would I like to have it? Sure. Is it critical at this point? No.

Haven't used a case since day one. I did however apply a leather skin (DBrand) to the back of my Note 5 to enhance the grip and prevent it from sliding, especially on my desk. If at all possible, I prefer the clean look on my devices. ;)

Wait till you can try them in hand, compare to your Note 4, then decide. Personally I'm waiting for the next Note.

Re: Anyone going to ditch Note5 for the S7? I'll wait till I see a lot of data both ways before I consider whether or not to really look. I have my Note 5 running really well doing what I want. Would take a lot to convince me to switch out.

Take a look at your running processes / apps in settings. One aspect that has occasionally bit me is I'll have more than one of the same function running - example: AT&T Contacts and Google Contacts - with one trying to over-ride the other. May not be your issue but is a good check to rule...

I set up a wireless hard drive companion (RavPower) that is hooked to a 2TB HDD. I can dump to/from with my Note 5 (using FH+ app) and all other non-iOS devices. Pretty cool :D

Screen protectors in my opinion are a great item. There is a caution: get them at .25mm thickness or thinner. Thicker ones can cause loss of sensitivity issues. I use ballistic glass on mine with no issue.

Absolutely not. I use both daily (I have separate work and home numbers). Once I had my Note 5 set up the way I wanted it (using Nova Prime) and turned on the Developer Options, I can lay my 6S+ and Note 5 side by side and swipe, sweep, launch, close, swap, etc... and the Note in most cases...
