    Ringtone problem

    I had that exact same problem with the Droid 2 and had it replaced with the Droid x2 and haven't had the problem since, maybe have it replaced. Sounds like a hardware problem.

    Volume weirdness

    I don't know about that but my volume on certain things (ie.navigation voice) keeps muting or volume lowers to minimum for no reason. I myself would rather not have too loud of unlock and keyboard sounds.
