I have the same question about backing up. My answer to what I want backed up is that I have no idea. That's the point/problem. I need to do a factory reset but don't have any idea how much I'll lose in the process. What all do I need to make sure is backed up and what's the easiest way to do it?

I think we need people like you, iPhone users, to go into Apple and demand a fix. I've been in twice and since I don't have an iPhone they give me marginal service, to say it nicely.
