HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

Re: HTC One (M8): Camera lens cover issue Wow that really sucks. And yours was repaired, correct? That's scary in the sense that the repair techs are using defective parts to replace defective parts. Posted via Android Central App

HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

Re: HTC One (M8): Camera lens cover issue And another thing that bothers me is that I'd had a chat session with an HTC customer service rep over a week ago before at&t offered to replace my handset and I specifically asked for her to elevate my complaint to a supervisor when she said she'd not...

HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

Re: HTC One (M8): Camera lens cover issue I am still waiting on my replacement M8 to get delivered but I am seriously considering selling/trading the new one for something else. I shouldn't have to install a protector on my lens cover when I keep my phone in a case to begin with. No other...

I love my M8 but the LG G3 looks pretty good.....

I may be in the minority here but I liked the G2 stock ROM better than Samsung's touchwiz. But that's like saying I like going to the doctor more than the dentist, I'd prefer to skip both. Posted via Android Central App

I had no problems with the G2 build quality. It seemed better than Samsung's and way better than the Nexus 5. That said the HTC M7 and M8 are in a league of their own. Posted via Android Central App

HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

Re: HTC One (M8): Camera lens cover issue I have a couple of those waiting to install on my replacement M8 when it arrives next week. I was wondering if you've had time to try out the camera with the protector installed. Does it affect image quality at all? Posted via Android Central App

I love my M8 but the LG G3 looks pretty good.....

I have owned almost every premium smartphone except the Sony line within the past year (its kind of my hobby to trade phones) and I have owned 2 G2's. The fact that I went back to it a second time speaks to how much I liked it. That said, to me the deal breaker was the UI. It was quite...

HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

Yes I noticed some 'flex' on mine when pressing down on the edge. I think thats the film moving. And I hadn't gotten around to rooting yet. Posted via Android Central App

HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

I just checked and verified it is a new unit. And there's no shipping charges either way. Can't beat that Posted via Android Central App

HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

Re: HTC One (M8): Camera lens cover issue I disagree. My concern about trying to remove the film is voiding the warranty in the process. I'm not putting nail polish remover on my phone unless all other options are exhausted. Posted via Android Central App

HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

So I went to my local ATT store today and after the rep looked at the scratches she arranged for a warranty replacement which should arrive next week. In the meantime I continue to accrue scratches almost hourly for no apparent reason. I am starting to think that tiny hairline scratches are...

HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

Here's the best photo I could take of my scratches under poor lighting. You can't see them all in this shot particularly those that go over the lens opening. Posted via Android Central App

HTC One (M8): Camera Lens Issue

Re: HTC One (M8): Camera lens cover issue Okay so my lens is scratched as well. Not horribly just yet, but I can imagine it getting much worse over time. I don't really want to lose my free shattered screen exchange over this! This is a defect and should be covered as such. Unfortunately at...
