Sucks you have to do that. Primary reason I don't bring my DSLR the convenience of point and shoot. But I have been able to adjust my angle to prevent it.

Can't say I've had issues with any device with Bluetooth since 2013.... The pixel will connect to certain devices. I even excluded the Bluetooth from Doze.

Newer vehicles may not have a issue also depends on the radio. My radio is not the my link. I tried turning off Contact share and booting into safe mode. Both times it would connect and disconnect. Seeing numerous reports of this seems to be a issue in Nougat maybe reintroduced with 7.1...

I thought turning off Contact sharing would fix it.... Yeah it didn't

Having Bluetooth issues my self 2015 Camaro pixel XL will connect then disconnect immediately tried trouble shooting no luck. Oddly my pebble is fine and my Bluetooth aux adapter is fine

Um it happens in any sunlight not just direct.

Possible they may silently fix the issue in later units. I'll see what a different case does.
