Amazon had an unlocked version available on 7/30 so I ordered one from there. It was due to arrive on 8/31, so the race was on between Amazon and Google Store. The Amazon order arrived on 8/7! I cancelled the Google Store order and have been enjoying my new phone all week!

The unlocked version is available at the Google Store right now. I snatched one up and will activate it on VZW once it arrives on 9/3 or 9/4. Unless, it arrives sooner. :) Thanks everybody!

I looked at the Google store and both the VZW and unlocked versions are out of stock. I also wonder if they are out of stock due to the supply-chain issues that are affecting so many businesses, or if (let me put on my tinfoil hat) Google is not making them because the Pixel 6 and 5a are so...

Congratulations on your purchase! I'm on Verizon and can't find anybody that sells the Pixel 5 for it. Even the unlocked versions aren't available. Where did you buy yours from?
