Another vote for alarm clock plus. Lots of options, and the math to turn off means you can't easily turn it off while half asleep and drift off again.

I sure hope you don't eat at restaurants or buy clothes from a store q-fugee. After all, that food at the restaurant is much cheaper if you buy it yourself and cook it, and clothing, you could save a ton if you buy cloth and cut and stitch it all yourself and make your own clothing. Screen...

Granted you are indoors but still, 1/2 mile off is huge. Its fine if your just wanting a quick check of whats nearby but try getting turn by turn directions when it just knows you are somewhere within this 1/2 mile area.

Plastic + Spring has me slightly concerned but I really didn't like the effort it took to open the springless Droid 2. Hopefully a couple weeks of early adopters running them through daily routines and reporting back will boost my confidence in the build quality.

Saying it like that does make it harder for me to choose the Evo... :P I'm leaning towards the Epic now but I think I will need to try and find a sprint store to get my hands on them both to be certain. I have a few weeks to wait for user reviews too, especially on things like the GPS.

I know about the usb to hdmi cable. I don't consider a 50-60 dollar cable converting a usb port to hdmi the same as a 10 dollar cable connecting hdmi to hdmi. I'm also not sure how AMOLED would make a screen look bigger. Better I understand, but how would it look bigger?
