Basic visual voicemail works with Oreo on Essential with Verizon for me. It is a Oreo built in interface, not the Verizon app. It doesn't support transcription service but works fine for checking messages. I never was able to get visual voicemail with this phone on Nougat.

Just tried this with VZN. Can see the settings, but cannot change them. Wifi calling is off. WiFi calling and Verizon's voicemail transcription service are the only things I have found that don't work for this phone. I am able to do data tasks like web browsing while on the phone.

UMASS021 Yep. Works fine for me here. No wifi calling, but signal strength and quality of service just as good as I had with my galaxy 7.

The only issue I have that has not already been addressed is the Verizon support for a couple of their services - visual voicemail and enhanced caller ID specifically. Everything else just works.
