I had the OG Moto X and the 2014 Moto X up until now. I am loving the Pixel 2 (small version). The bezels are stupid but I got over it, everything else is better....but I miss the chop chop gesture for flashlight :(

Seems like a problem with that specific phone. Essential also had some hardware problems like that where some units didn't scroll smoothly.

Interesting, yeah I thought that since my Moto X didn't require an extra payment for hotspot on Cricket that any "non carrier" android phone would work. I switched to Project Fi so it doesn't matter now, but it's good to know.

Definitely not normal. On my Pixel 2 (small one) there is absolutely no blurring when scrolling text in Chrome etc.

The blue deniers in here are nuts. I believe people that say their phones aren't bad. Why is it so hard to believe that there are a bunch of crap displays out in the wild?

I wouldn't be too worried about the fix. I work at a company that designs electronics including the firmware, and there are a lot of things that can be tweaked in firmware to change timings etc. when there is electrical interference.

I also have been annoyed with how dim the AOD often is, and can't find much rhyme or reason why it will sometimes get temporarily brighter. That is one thing that my Moto X phones were better at.

Just a heads up, the November software update completely solved my ticking both on phone calls and with just the screen "awake" if I put my ear up to the phone. Agree on the screen size. Going to 5" from 5.2" doesn't sound like much but I do notice it. I feel like 5.3" would be the Goldilocks...

Mine has a faint ticking, but it's pretty quiet. Will see what they come up with which I'm guessing is turning off NFC during phone calls.

Does anyone else happen to have a "hidden" WiFi network that doesn't braidcast the SSID? My Pixel 2 doesn't seem to connect automatically and I have to open the Wifi selection interface, then it will find it and connect without me having to select it. My Moto X 2014 would connect right away...
