My Razr HD (MOTO) has lost all Swype software with this up/down grade. The voice recog. is unbelievable but in a crowded work area, Swype would be preferred input method. I tried this tip and only got choice of Input languages and Android Keyboard (AOSP), not even std. keyboard. Whats' with this?

i'm all ok about rooting, and would do so if a couple of ?'s can be addressed. 1. i thought rooting meant Unix @ the other end. im not 'seeing' that. is that true? 2. Apps? after rooting, do the app's still run - that is the apps that I want to run, like browser, photos, and how about videos...

just coming in from the cold to Droid X2. Very excited about it. work in IT but with any new OS, takes a little time. Nice web presence and links. have already used several apps from site. web management here is very nice. thanks guys.
