    Just so you know when I press the e dots, bottom right I do not get that option. I get Delete, QR file, Edit Contact Info, Block Contact, Move to Secure Folder Thanks

    Ringtones Folder already appears to be in My Files app manager but it does not seem to be the default. When I go to Apps, under Set As Default in blue it shows Not Set as Default. When I press Set as Default I get this screen. Thanks

    So are you meaning to try to access ring tones from that app instead of file explorer? File explorer seems to be the default when I try to add ringtone? Can I change?

    Since rollout of Android 11 have been unable add a customized ring tone to contacts on s10. Have followed same procedure that worked before but tone selected from folder will not save Sorry for reposting but could not find original thread

    Nope... no error message. The ring tone just not saved. I’ve been doing this ever since I got the phone and it’s just since I downloaded last update I’ve had issues.

    I switched messaging app to Textra and can assign individual text tones. Hate this feature removed!

    Battery life seems shorter and miss being able to assign personalized text tones in Contacts.

    ok.... downloaded textra again and made default app. Was able to assign personalized text tones. Thanks for the "how to". Has been driving me crazy for days THANKS SO MUCH

    Personal notification sounds on S9

    I feel your pain. I am so upset that in Oreo individual text tones was taken out; hopefully by mistake. I have an s8 and had this choice in Contacts until Oreo. I used all the time. Have tried installing other text and contacts apps but to no avail.
