[ROM] Android Open Kang Project- Jelly Bean Style

I don't think it was ever reinstated. But, I do it anyway. So I haven't tested to see if the policy was reinstated, however, I suspect we would have heard if they had.

[ROM] Android Open Kang Project- Jelly Bean Style

I use TiBu to reset my Android ID to the ID prior to flashing the ROM (feature available in the PRO version). That way I keep the same ID even after flashing. I haven't had any issue with the number of devices with Google Music.

Syncing Picasa with my Gallery - I need help

Cool, glad that worked. I had to do the same thing, although I just replaced the app so I still had the camera. Many of the newer ROMs are having the issue. I had read something about how Google is doing something with the camera and gallery apps that has caused the mess. Hopefully it'll get...

Syncing Picasa with my Gallery - I need help

If you're running Jelly Belly 4.0 to 5.0 (5.1 may also have the problem), it's the Gallery app. You'll have to replace it with a previous version. Will have to look up the app, but I think it's called GalleryGoogle.apk and use it to replace Gallery2.apk in system/media. Sent from my Galaxy...

    Ah .. thanks. I hadn't seen the 4/29 version.

Apps restored on their own with new AOKP rom?!

Did you flash the newest Google Apps too (the 04/22 version)? My experience with that version is that it "broke" the market sync, so I've been flashing the 03/17 version still.

[ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.5.5 [Full Open Source]

I believe that the nightlies are based on 4.0.4, at least what they got around to merging into their code base. It's probably incomplete, but I thought the latest nightly was well done.

    [ROM] Android Open Kang Project

Yeah, I just decided to try out AOKP. Coming from CNA. And now I have to wipe and flash a newer version.

[ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.5.5 [Full Open Source]

Yep, and there are some links to nightly's of 2.0 release candidates that you can get now. I'm on the 04/11 nightly right now and like it. I tried the 04/12 nightly and it wouldn't boot for me. But, now I see there's a 04/13 nightly posted. Here's the link: Index of /toro/ But I would visit...

[ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.5.5 [Full Open Source]

For me, I set up my home screen much like it was with stock from Verizon. So, I had a "Google" folder on the main home screen that had all of the Google apps (Calendar, Maps, Navigation, Voice, Talk, etc.). With that, there were quite a few apps. I set up the folder such that the apps were in...

[ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.5.5 [Full Open Source]

Yeah, I've had that too. But, I think it happened with 1.5 or 1.4 as well (I can't remember which 'cause I only had each one for a few days each).

[ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.5.5 [Full Open Source]

That's much like the Bedtime Mode on BlackBerry. Actually one of the biggest features I've missed since moving from BlackBerry to Android. I may have to flash this ROM just for that feature. :)

[ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.5.5 [Full Open Source]

That's what is mentioned on the rootzwiki page. I've never flashed a ROM or even rooted (the GNex is my first Android device). I think I'll wait until there's a full 4.0.4 ROM to flash.

    HUGE BATTERY LIfe Tip!

Thanks. I'll try that. I don't use Google Talk, so I opened it up and logged out. I'll have to see if it makes any difference.
