I also have CwM Voodoo Lagfix Recovery v.2.5.1.x in my Recovery mode. Does that mean I can't just flash a new ROM?

So first of all I'm an android noob. My friend gave me his rooted Samsung fascinate but he forgot what ROM he's running as I'm trying to install PDroid on it and you need to patch your ROM file. This is the info I got. If anyone can help with installing pdroid too that would be awesome...
