With the SGH-T999 In touchwiz I just switch it from Settings > More settings > Mobile networks > Network mode > WCDMA only. I've never seen it go to EDGE that way. It stays on HSPA when it would otherwise go back and forth from EDGE to HSPA in low reception areas.

Update - I'm dabbling in custom roms now, but the built in kernels and any other kernel I've tried so far don't support 64gb micro SD cards formatted to NTFS. Is there a custom kernel that does support 64gb NTFS, preferably AOSP? I know I could re image it to FAT32 but I don't want to because...

So I just got my SGH-T999 about a week ago and love it, I'm running stock rooted TW 4.12 with TWRP and I'm wondering where the kernels are. I've been searching for them and can't find any. Should I even bother?

Whatever CM10.1 nightly and gapps package I install google now and voice searchs crash on me. Any non cm rom or cm10.0 works fine. Im using grouper roms from get.cm and gapps from Google Apps - RootzWiki with my 32gb non radio nexus. Any ideas, is this a known issue with the nightlys?

I don't own one but I don't think a update would give you that, It would need hardware for it. Just Tether from your phone, that's what I do with my nexus 7.

I got a E4GT yesterday and im trying to move my titanium back files to it from my NS4G. Just a couple days ago it mounted fine but now nothing it just charges. Nothing's showing showing in device manager, I tried in CWM and thats not working either. Im running Windows 8 9200.

I dont understand. those's are just directory's or folders you can move them around with a file manager, I dont know what that would fix though. Sorry if Im ignorant and didn't understand your question right.

I remember a thead on here about it .I think it is possible, cant find in now though. Why not just use DSPManager. Beats is just a branded eq, and a flat eq is really 'How it's mean't to heard'.
