I had this same problem, you have to actually TELL it how many snoozes and time between, make sure you hit SAVE in the upper right corner. Unlike other menu options, this doesn't save when you hit back.

Well Google Maps is now 4% of my battery useage, which is lower than I've seen, but still there for not having used maps at all. But I just turned off location services. So we'll see how it does.

I've actually noticed the same thing on my phone. I factory reset the phone a few hours ago, so I haven't seen it pop back up - I'm wondering if its location services using maps?

A question for the really good battery life people - what do you have your location settings set to?

My phone bounces between excellent battery life and terrible battery life and I haven't really noticed a pattern. At work I get terrible cell reception, so I expect it to drain the battery more. I bounce between 2G (1x) and 4G all day long. As a side note this phone definitely gets worse...
