    Re: What a letdown Shipping date of a month from the order date is a bit too long. But this is probably part of the growing pains for Pixel. Don't expect it to reoccur from next year.

    Except that other flagship Android phones have wonderful specs too. I think that widespread availability will be crucial for the success of the Pixel brand.

    It will sell well enough because it's a solid phone. But it won't have iPhone-like sales volume because you really can't call the Pixel a transcendental phone.

    The Pixel is quite pricey but it looks like it's a solid (i.e high quality) phone.

    It's not like people are meant to engage in water sports with their phones but the ratings are still important because sometimes mishaps do occur. Flagship phones with premium prices should have premium features.

    Doesn't really matter what kind of Android it's called. What's important is that the software updates and security patches are timely and regular.

    Quite disappointing that there's no 64GB option. I think 32GB is small if you take into account that there's no slot for a Micro SD card.
