    Unlock question

As I said before it depending on where you are in the country. T-Mobile will not work in 3G mode with the LG P505 or P506 in most cases. T-Mobile uses a AWS on 1.7ghz in most of their towers. AT&T uses PCS on 1.9ghz. These are two totally different frequencies and two totally different data...

    Unlock question

Maybe depends on where your are at ... a lot of T mobiles 3g towers use different technology from AT&T so you can't actually run 3g ... I would check into this more before you commit personally I would try to get it to work with straight talk. it actually uses AT&Ts towers but it cost 45$ for...

    Unlock question

Ok here is what you need to do to get AT&T to release the phone. First you will have to have it long enough to cover the cost of the phone in AT&T's eyes. Next call them and tell them you want to use your phone overseas and your not sure how it all works and you want to make sure your phone is...

    passing the torch

So I just got the option to upgrade my phone with AT&T and I took it. I got a new toy to figure out I'm going to be using a Pantech Flex for a while which was just recently release (you would think I would find a phone that has already been rooted and figured out....but no). Anyways I may be...

    [ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

You install Piccolo the same way you do any rom. if you want to go back to 2.3 I would recommend going to the (semi)perfectly working CM7. Im using it on mine no issues at all.

    P500 Roms on P505?

Unless Arjen has updated his kernel to include all the functionality any of the gingerbread roms will need to be flashed with Joban's kernel and then Arjens (its goofy yes but it works)

This is the easiest way to root the LG Phoenix / Thrive

I don't know about being a young punk. I get to have a mid life crisis here in a few years :P

    lg thrive assistance?

My two cents are that you should go with the CM7 build here http://forums.androidcentral.com/t-lg-phoenix-thrive/203433-how-perfect-working-cm7.html its a bit of a pain to install but once its one there its rock solid and 100% functional with great battery life. Also if you want the ICS look you...

    CWM Recovery for Phoenix/Thrive

Unless they have changed something with CWM and the ROM manager, this is not correct if you have upgraded to 2.3 you will still need to use the old baseband version, I don't know why and it flies in the face of logic but the NBB version doesn't work on our phones at all. But for some reason the...

Re: [HOW TO]Perfect working CM7 I have been using this ROM for a while now and I must say I am impressed with it, aside from the fact that bluetooth sucks the life out of the battery IMHO its the best ROM out there.

    CWM Recovery for Phoenix/Thrive

There is no offical CWM for the P505 but you can use just about any of the CWMs here on the forum for the Phoenix. If you dont care about the colors just flash the one from the Optimus One (P500) old baseband from the ROM Manager.

    [how to]cm7 + cm9 + cm10

Re: [HOW TO]Perfect working CM7 After clearing the battery cache and about three charges (some full some short), I am doing a test on the battery to see how long it lasts, so far I am at 33.5 hours with minimal to moderate usage, Wifi on, Bluetooth off, GPS off and if my little graph is...
