When I had Vaelpak, it doesn't matter what the screen timeout is set at. When I am on the phone, no matter 1 minute or 10 minutes, it never goes to the lock screen. I just goes back to the dialer screen when I hang up the call. Just annoying...

Can you suggest Sense based ROM you used to fix this? When you flash the ROM, do you clear the data/cache/Malvic when you come back to Decks?

After installing 2.3.4, it is having problem with GPS. 1.2v has been installed. When using Google navi, it is searching for GPS, and never locks on. Any idea?

if you want to update to this GB ROM, do you have to update the Kerner as well? I currently have VaelPak 3.0 with Kerner in which it came with the ROM.

After following this guide, when everything is complete, do I need to back up? If so, how do I do the back up? And maybe dumb question, when "back up", what am I really backing up?

This happened to me as it just did not do anything. So, I just did the step 20, where you type(or copy/paste) the next command line, and everything worked out. Give that a try.
