Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or S6 Edge+ Always Listening??

EDIT 2: It works with S-Voice but doesn't work with "Ok Google" yet :/ EDIT 1: I finally got through to Samsung and they say that the New Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ DO have Always Listening.... awesome! Anyone know if the Galaxy Note 5 has always listening like the Note 4 does? I think it's a...

Let's Talk About Samsung's Deceitful "Upgrades"...

Yeah, it seems that everyone that has a GS5 off contract is very pleased with the update. I guess I will wait it out and see what happens. I still wonder who was to blame for the S2, S3 and S4... "updates."

Let's Talk About Samsung's Deceitful "Upgrades"...

Ah I see... I am envious -_- But glad that it doesn't appear to be Samsung behind it. Now I turn my gaze to the service providers ಠ_ಠ (providers because I have experienced this on both Verizon AND Sprint).

What service provider/model is build "OC7" for?

Let's Talk About Samsung's Deceitful "Upgrades"...

Yep, it sounds like you are experiencing the same sluggishness that we all are (on Verizon at least). In my case, I had noticed all-around sluggishness, not just in certain apps, granted: some apps are slower than others. In this case, it may well be Verizon that is to blame, seeing as how...

Let's Talk About Samsung's Deceitful "Upgrades"...

Great information! It could possibly be just with Verizon, as you suggest. I began to assume that Samsung was to blame due to the fact that all of my other Samsung phones experienced similar problems just before they would release a new phone (I picked that up right away and was surprised to...

TUTORIAL: Downgrade Samsung Galaxy S5 from 5.0 to 4.4 KitKat

I typed it in exactly but it says "0 results found" like the site doesn't even have it. I can't be the only one experiencing this... can I? I don't see version: GALAXY S5 (SM-G900V). I see all other versions but not (SM-G900V). Can anyone else out there that has already downloaded post it...

Let's Talk About Samsung's Deceitful "Upgrades"...

Ah, that's good to hear. May I ask which service provider you are on? What were the hiccups (specifically) and how did you get over them? I was beginning to think this because many others out there are having the same problem. Even people at work with S5s.

Let's Talk About Samsung's Deceitful "Upgrades"...

So I have noticed a trend among Samsung phones, and I have owned quite a few (S2, S3, S4, S5)... It's the fact that every upgrade (or at least the ones directly before one of their new phones gets released) seems to diminish battery life and speed. I'm not one to be paranoid but I do pick up...

TUTORIAL: Downgrade Samsung Galaxy S5 from 5.0 to 4.4 KitKat

Yeah and I found out that doesn't really fix it anyway :( It worked at first but now... it sucks again. Going to be downgrading my S5 soon. Maybe later today.

Samsung Galaxy S5 - Verizon - Latest Update before Lollipop?

Heh, I think we would all like to know the answer to that question. Right now, the only way is to root your phone... which to me, is looking better and better.

Samsung Galaxy S5 - Verizon - Latest Update before Lollipop?

UPDATE: Fail... so... I take back what I said... about the factory reset and cleared partition fixing everything. It was working smoothly at first but after a few weeks, it's back to no battery life and acting very sluggish. Sad, I thought that had fixed it. I am now going to re-install Android...

TUTORIAL: Downgrade Samsung Galaxy S5 from 5.0 to 4.4 KitKat

I think it's because you didn't first do the "Wipe Cache Partition" and then Factory Reset immediately afterwards. Initially, I just did a factory reset. Then after that, I tried clearing the cache partition but that didn't work. Still had terrible battery life and slow performance. However...

TUTORIAL: Downgrade Samsung Galaxy S5 from 5.0 to 4.4 KitKat

Clear partition and do a factory reset. Trust me, it gives the battery life back and then some + MUCH faster performance (thank god)! Mine automatically re-installed all the apps and settings I had before so it took no time at all. 1. Turn phone off. 2. Hold power, home and volume up key until...
