    Go into Advanced Wifi Settings and turn everything off.. That helped with my battery drain.

    Even tho this is the Note 2 section... have you checked Settings > Display > LED Notification? There are a few toggles for the led in there.

    How can I replace Clockworkmod recovery with TWRP on my Note2?

    Here's an easier way. . Go on Play Store and download Goo Manager. After it installs open the app. Click Menu and find the option "Install Open Recovery Script" it'll flash TWRP.

    I also like Otterbox. Defender is what im using but they also make the Commuter. I love my Defender because it also comes with a holster that doubles as a kickstand.

    I have 2 tablets. Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7" and a Big Lots D2 7" Tablet (factory rooted - 1G Ram edition $79) they're for the kids as I don't need something obsolete to my Note 2.
