I can find a much lower price on the Google Pixel, since it's not the latest generation. Is there much difference in the overall performance, the battery life and the camera? I also understand it has the latest software updates pushed to it as well.

The only promotions of which I'm aware are ones through Verizon. As I have AT&T as a carrier, they wouldn't apply to me. Are there others?

I've been an iPhone user for several years now, since switching to an iPhone after a bad experience with a Motorola phone. Now I'm very impressed with the reviews of the Pixel 2. I use Google for email, calendar, contacts, etc., so it would make sense to switch to an Android. Is it accurate...
