I believe you will get $100 credit on your bill (at least on Verizon) once you exchange the phone for another Samsung, or $25 for any other phone.

Did you call VZ to get the refund and then went to BestBuy? Don't you loose your number if you return the phone and dont get one from Verizon? I ordered a black S7E but it's out of stock until 10/14 and I'm going on vacation next week... would rather take the new phone with.

Well, this really sucks. Really liked the Note 7, but that Verizon text really bummed me today. I went online and ordered an S7 edge to replace the Note 7. The Black ones are on back order, and my email confirmation said it would ship by 10/14.

Went in to store around 5 today and got mine exchanged for same model. Took about 45 minutes. Lots of people at the store exchanging. The lady told me that tomorrow will be crazy since it's the official day fkr the exchanges. Happy and Green 😆

Well, I just did two different chats and both agents said store replacement only. Also the $25 credit will only be on a gift card or store credit. No bill credit.

So far here, I've only see ONE person report this order message, and it could've just been a fluke on VZ's systems. But lets hope for the people that bought online, it would be as painless as receiving a new Note7 in the mail, and return the defective one.

I'm surprised at how quickly the CPSC approved and issued the recall... I was expecting to go around with a fire hazard for at least a couple months... I know it's early yet, but does anyone know for us that preordered online at launch date, will we get a new phone shipped out automatically, or...
