Back up a screen and hit details

On S23 if you go to phone>settings>other call settings you will find a slider for hide contacts without numbers. This is on the latest version of Android. YMMV. Good luck.

Thanks for the comments. Mustang nailed it above and all is well. The selections on the contact made lots of sense, but thanks to Mustang I got it going again. Don't know why they have to make it so difficult. Seems like they forgot about it in the later release and added it as an afterthought.

A few years ago Samsung contact settings had something to show only items with phone numbers, but that seems to have disappeared.

Maybe I have too many apps for swiping so it hides the ones I haven't used and the dots show the hidden ones.

Have you tried to swipe left on the options? That is what I do and then I get the 3 dots and a more option which opens it up to all the appropriate apps.

I have the same problem. Frustrating to always have to close the app.
