Besides a battery problem you could also have a runaway app. Have you looked at your battery stats to see what could be eating your battery? My phone at one point would use 15% in 20 mins just sitting there and I found out with some searching and googleing that HD Widgets was killing my battery...

Thanks simonsimons that wifi tether for root works much better than barnacle. It supports wpa2-psk instead of wep (a major plus) which i can use while on my touchpad now, and my pc picks it right up and my touchpad had no problems with it in WebOS meaning no more root commands to make it work...

Thanks simon, I have deleted a few stock apps and am so happy I dont have to look at them in apps menu anymore, Ive kept a few of them for my wife but got rid of the VM crap and some bloatware. I will also check out that tether for root users as well. Thanks again :)
