Unfortunately, you have to re-pair to PS3 when done. I have two controllers so just dedicated one for my tablet until needing to play a two player game.

The thing is, that method unlocks the bootloader. I am just wanting to do a soft root for access to Titanium Backup. Not really a desire as of now to run custom roms yet. I am in the boat of waiting for the kind dev's to crack a new soft root method.

I used the method from HTCevohacks.com. It was a one click batch file to run that they created. Unfortunately it gets permission denied after updating. I also tied rerunning the RUU but alas, that fails also. I guess I am stuck waiting for an updated method. In the mean time though, what root...

Well, I tried using Root Keeper, got the bad ! when it shut down. Silly me, I went and flashed RUU and then downloaded the update. Following that I went to go re-root and doh! The root method doesn't work anymore. So, anyone, if you see on XDA before I do about how to root after the update...
