I had my Eris replaced just a couple months ago and they sent me another Eris, so they may still have them in stock via refurb's. Be aware though that you may likely be charged for a replacement. Per my insurance plan, I had to pay a $50 deductible to get a replacement.

yeah, i am able to get the finger swipe to work from the bar down, however, it seems a bit less user friendly as I sometime run out of screen real estate on the swipe and it remains locked.. guess ill be using the menu button to do the unlocking from now on. :)
