That won't do anything for getting into desktop mode, though, if the browser has been closed and you are following a link from a tweet or email. By default the browser will go to mobile mode. And it's not a "fix" ... it's a workaround.

The Xoom Gallery finds any image or video file, unfortunately, pulling from your music collection, your download folders, even AV media files. I've not seen any way to limit it to only a certain file type or set of folders.

I'm glad you started this thread! I've been having a problem with the top of the lower 1/3 of the middle of the screen while playing the game Andoku (IMHO one of the best Soduko games going). Andoku is not optimized for Honeycomb, so it plays on the Xoom in portrait mode with mixed results...
