    Do I Have Jellybean??

Nope! The only real requirement is your device needs an NFC chip. Software-wise there isn't a hard requirement but only Gingerbread and above have NFC capability. Sent from my LS670 using Android Central Forums

[RECOVERY] TWRP 2.3 / 2.2.2.1 TEAMWIN touch recovery

Re: [RECOVERY] TWRP 2.2.2.1 touch recovery Code-wise, the TWRP UI is all sorts of complicated for no reason. Also, the UI code they wrote is all sorts of different from COT's. To use it would mean a complete rewrite of just about everything, and several of our custom features would be lost in...

[RECOVERY] TWRP 2.3 / 2.2.2.1 TEAMWIN touch recovery

Re: [RECOVERY] TWRP 2.2.2.1 touch recovery Yep that's exactly what it would be used for. However as a compromise we are looking into a feature of RZRecovery that names backups based on not only the date/time, but also the name of the ROM as written in the build.prop. Sent from my Nexus 7...

    OK question

Most of them auto-reboot at 864MHz anyhow. But yes it's quite amazing. EDIT: just realized you were referring to the One V, not the Optimus V haha Sent from my Nexus 7 using Android Central Forums

    OK question

Indeed 1.6 is very stable from what I've noticed, which is absolutely insane considering its clocked at 200% of stock speed. Over the next couple days I will be pushing the boundaries and possibly taking it over 2GHz.

I (basically) know the answer already, but things like this interest me...

Don't get me wrong it would be really damn convenient to upgrade individual parts but that's simply not the way it works.

No. To all of the above. Smartphones are NOT computers and one does not simply swap out parts willy nilly.

    Building your own ROM

Neither of these posts are helpful at all, let's try and keep things civil. You've both been reported.

[RECOVERY] TWRP 2.3 / 2.2.2.1 TEAMWIN touch recovery

Re: [RECOVERY] TWRP 2.2.2.1 touch recovery We (sblood86 and I) won't touch TWRP code with a 10 foot pole. The only thing I would kang from TWRP is the on-screen keyboard but the code is too far-flung from CWM to even begin to port it over. Regardless, COT pwns TWRP and that's all that matters :p

    Vulnerability: Remote USSD Attack

This does NOT mean the Optimus S is vulnerable. It simply means there is a dialer code the brings up the MEID. Try it on a link with a dialer code that resets data. Oh wait, the Optimus S doesn't have one.... Conclusion: NOT VULNERABLE
