I started a thread on this topic a couple weeks ago. Find that and you should get some help. Long story short, you may need to change messaging app and then fiddle with the compression settings.

I did have some Bluetooth issues when connected to my Acura Rdx where the connection was very crackly. I couldn't solve the problem for about a week then the phone randomly suggested I clean my memory and it resolved the issue completely. Funny thing is during that time, it worked perfectly...

Mine is super snappy and very accurate. I find it to be far superior to the fingerprint sensor on my previous device, the S7 edge. I think having it on the rear and a circle is part of the reason it is more accurate.

In the Textra app, not in the phone settings. In the main landing for Textra click the triple dot in the top right and then select MMS

Update #2: Totally disregard my previous note on Textra MMS settings. Apparently only T-Mobile customers would receive the MMS with those settings. Changed MMS settings to "carrier send limit 1MB" and "MMS behavior legacy" then enabled their T-Mobile WiFi fix. I just sent some photos to my...

Update: Using Textra with the correct settings works well. Still not perfect, but pretty good. Changed the Textra MMS settings to "carrier has no data limit" and chose "system" option over "legacy" option. Will test it further for the next few days and offer another opinion.

Agreed, but sit tight. I'm testing Textra now as some have suggested and some fiddling with the settings in Textra may have solved the problem. I'll update soon. Also, I would think you'd have the same issue w the Axon 7 since it is an unlocked device and probably doesn't support advanced messaging.
