Thanks and I have been putting contacts in as Google contacts. That Motorola BS is for the birds. I appreciate the feedback and will also look into Dropbox as well. I am retired as well as of 7/31/12. I sure like everyday being a "Saturday"! LOL

Looking for advice for best place or program to back up phone contacts / docs / etc. I do not like the Motorola options and not sure how to do backup to Google. Any helpful advice would be appreciated. My wife and I both have Razr Maxxs, and are on 4.1.2 JB (just updated a day or so now)...

How does one change where a contact is backed up to once it has been entered? I have some contacts that are to Google and others to Motorola Backup assistant and I don't see how to change once that contact has been entered. Any help would be appreciated.:confused:

Isaac, Worked out well. Took a little figuring out on getting my old apps back in. Only had one that would download back in from mSecure PRO and I sent them a gmail asking how to do that. With all the BS to this I hope never to have to revert to a factory reset again. LOL Thanks again.

That sounds simple enough. I only have one file in my SD card that is important and I was due to update it from my PC anyway! LOL Thanks much. I really want to get rid of that dang only gmail account. Its been a pain and I probably should have done this a long time ago. :-[

Found out the cure for this problem. The Droid Razr Maxx is a little more secure that older phones. It does NOT automatically transfer contacts to any bluetooth connected device. There is a small bar at the top of the phone. Connect you Droid Razr Maxx to your car and then touch that little...
