Only had the Pixel 2 for 1 month. Usually around 5-6hrs SOT although I have got 7hrs SOT . Get a whole day of use, haven't had to charge it in the day.

Reason for the camera getting a 9 is that I think portrait mode can go one step better. I have taken shots with my wife's iPhone 8+ that I couldn't replicate with the Pixel 2. I know I'm nitpicking but I do think Google can go one step better. Still prefer the Pixel 2 camera as iPhone 8+...

Getting 6hr SOT with Pixel 2 , this phone is unreal

Had my Pixel 2 for 3 days. One pixel in the middle of the screen is dead or stuck and is constantly red. I have never had this issue with any other phone, Is this covered under warranty?

I'm in the same boat. I can live with unpolished software because I know they will sort it out. The camera on the other hand I'm not so sure it will get better.

Apologies if it appears I'm bashing Google that was not my intention. Just wanted to share my experience and thoughts. I really really wanted the Pixel 2, it just didn't tick enough boxes for me.

Because I value both software and hardware. OP5 has a great balance at a good price. Yeh it may be an iPhone clone but I actually don't consider that as ugly.

Just went into the phone store to check out and hopefully buy one of the new pixels. Pretty disappointed, very underwhelming phone design for both phones. Perhaps my expectations were too high just found design of Pixel 2 dated and the screen is too small, Pixel 2 XL may have the most ugly...
