My favorite music player is Now Playing. It has a nice Google Now inspired UI.

I'm so annoyed that I want to root my device and put a custom ROM on it! It's still fully stock.

Off topic.. those white notification icons with blue battery & network indicator looks ugly!

They detect screen size to redirect the user to mobile site. Depends on what they use to detect the device.

I use mobile hotspot so there's no way to do that

Nexus 7 replaced my phone! I don't call much so it's fine. I think it depends on user preference and use. Edit: My phone is now used for tethering only
