Received the Essential Phone ask your questions

Rcvd my Essential yesterday (From Best Buy) and I didn't see WiFi calling in the Settings/Network menu but it was in the phone Settings. I am also on T-Mobile - thank you.

1st day with MOTO X, worried about battery

Last Sunday it was REALLY cold in the south so I decided to do a 3rd factory reset. That reduced battery drain but the power is still draining faster than on 4.2.2. A new MOTO X arrives Friday so I'll see how that does after I log into Google, download my apps, set the phone up and run it for a...

1st day with MOTO X, worried about battery

I've had my AT&T Moto X since it came out. Got the 4.4 update yesterday and immediately noticed lag others have reported. I tried the ART runtime which improved performance but RunKeeper's GPS didn't work and I use that app so I did a factory reset and went back to Dalvik. No more lag after the...

Moto X Not Playing Navigation Over Bluetooth -- Help Appreciated!

Same issue with my AT&T X. AT&T passed me to Google. Google passed me to Motorola. Motorola said phones navigation app wasn't configured for Bluetooth navigation. This is ridiculous since all my previous Android phones did that and the X is latest, greatest. After multiple apologies Motorola...

Moto X, Droid Maxx or HTC One?

I have both. Been on Android for 4 years, Fascinate, Galaxy Nexus, HTC One, S4, and Moto X. HTC One is a great phone but it's big, heavy and the MAIN downfall for me (and the reason I am selling it Monday) is HTC's decision to go with non-standard two button configuration. I HATE THAT. Had they...

Why did YOU choose the One over any other device?

I switched from Verizon Galaxy Nexus that was getting a little slow. I appreciate the beautifl design of the HTC One, the screen is the best and for someone with hearing loss, the front facing speakers ACTUALLY WORK. As for SENSE, I'm rooted running Cyanogenmod 10.1. I was disappointed only that...

    In store replacements

My HTC One died after 1.5 months. No power, no hard reset possible, nothing. AT&T directed me to a local service center where the guys looked at it for about five seconds. Since it was dead-dead, they processed a warranty replacement for me (AT&T paid for shipping since my phone was only a 1.5...

Really dumb question. Does FM radio use data time?

I had the same question about my HTC One concerning data usage. When I read your simple suggestion, I felt pretty dumb! Thanks...HTC One FM Radio works just fine with data turned off.

HTC One's Back & Home button

I do have a screen protector. It's actually leftover from my Verizon G.Nexus. I cut it to fit the HTC One screen and it works perfect. It doesn't impeed sensitivity at all.

HTC One's Back & Home button

I haven't had an issue with sensitivity just seeing where the heck the back & home buttons are under certain circumstances.

HTC One's Back & Home button

My bootloader is unlocked and my AT&T HTC One is rooted. I haven't installed any custom ROM's yet, waiting for Cyanogenmod to firm up. I installed the kernel making the HTC Logo (well the screen slightly above it) function to power on/off the device. Back & Home buttons are SMALL. Has anyone...
