The qHD Screen: A PenTile LCD?

Sigh. Don't get so defensive. And yes, I can complain about a crappy feature that was crippled on a high end device, and am still able to do so without having a phone tooling factory in my basement. The Atrix could have had great optics, Motorola chose to cut corners here. The iPhone 4 is...

The qHD Screen: A PenTile LCD?

There's really no excuse for a device as high end as the Atrix to have such a poor camera. I know the quality will not match a good point and shoot, but the technology to make it good is there and readily available. The truth is, people rely on their smartphones to be their "everything" in...

Motorola Xoom at Best Buy for $1199!

It may be heads and shoulders above the iPad in specs, but if they don't sell it at a competitive price, the iPad will continue to wipe the floor with these other tablets. Somebody is going to need a loss leader tablet. And one that is not crappy; I mean a high end one like the Xoom. Price...

Unlimited calling to ANY mobile on ANY carrier!

Went to look at it, but it looks like I'd have to switch from my unlimited data/messaging plan over to this. So I'd lose my grandfathered unlimited plan in order to pay more for unlimited mobile to mobile. Or I'd just have to add an additional "unlimited messaging and mobile to mobile" for...

    How is the Atrix expensive?

The phone is priced normal. The docking stations are overpriced, and the laptop docking station is rediculous. $300 (+tethering fee) on contract, $500 off contract.

    Nothing wrong with Android except...

I think he means accessories ect. The issue is, with the iPhone, there is only one manufacturer. One size fits all makes making accessories easy to make for them. When you have Motorola, HTC, LG ect all making phones, they is no way to really facilitate them all having the same exact form...

Callpod's app "Keeper" is excellent on android. There is also keepass and a few others. Also if you use Lastpass (and are a premium user) you can use their android app as well.

What are reputation points and how do I get them?

You can give them to people who are helpful in their posts / responses. So generally if you post helpful things for others, you will end up getting some. Not sure its really useful other than for being able to identify those who frequent the board more often.

Best online storage - Dropbox or Sugarsync?

Definitely. Its for easy access to [copies of] things you need only for me. For that its very useful. I personally wouldn't use any cloud based storage as my storage means (even mozy ect), but thats just me. Trusting your data to a company which may or may not be there in 2 years, or one...

    Rooting and Apps

As RHChan84 stated, you can change the look a LOT just with regular apps and launcher replacements. However, for full out changes which are custom kernals/ROM's (basically customized android builds), which can change the very functionality of the system and change the way icons look ect...
