    Physical vs virtual keyboard

Re: virtual vs physical keyboard experience I've borrowed BlackBerry phones in the past and I didn't like the keyboards because I felt they were too small and I didn't like how the keys were shaped.

    Antivirus on Android or not?

I've always maintained the notion that if you stick to the Google Play store, your chances of getting malware-infected apps are slim. If you do want to take a drip to the dark side and side-load apps, then make sure that the source is credible. Don't just download APKs willy-nilly. Another thing...

    Mac or PC?

For the most part, I've prefered PCs, because I've found that there is more software available for Windows than there is for other platforms. Sure, there are alternative software, but I prefer using official software if I can, because then the user experience is way more likely to be consistent...

    Physical vs virtual keyboard

Re: virtual vs physical keyboard experience For me, that seems to be the case with desktop keyboards, but the last time I tried using a physical keyboard on a smartphone, I found the keys too small (even for me).

    Physical vs virtual keyboard

Re: virtual vs physical keyboard experience When I was in elementary school, we had this typing software to help us learn how to type without looking at the keyboard. On a desktop, I'm perfectly fine not looking at the keyboard, especially as I'm writing this now. However, on my phone, if I...

Is there way to have "Private" pics and vids stored on a SD Card?

Well, on the Android OS, you can hide folders by either adding a period at the beginning of its name, or by adding a blank file inside the root of that folder that's called “.NoMedia”. I don't think that'll make it hidden on different operating systems such as Windows. Maybe it would in Linux...

What smart phones and tablets have you owned/used?

My first smartphone was the LG Phoenix P505. I didn't have it set up on any plan yet, but it did make me think twice about my thoughts on iOS, since I was able to do things on that phone that I couldn't do with my iPod Touch 4th gen. In chronological order: • Phoenix P505 • Samsung S3 • Nexus...

What is the difference btw Android lollipop & Marshmellow?

I have the LG G3 and being the impatient person that I am, I decided not to wait for LG to release MM for the G3 and instead, install CM 13 on my phone. It was already rooted and had TWRP installed, so it was a breeze to install. I honestly like it better than LG's version of Android.

    Physical vs virtual keyboard

Re: virtual vs physical keyboard experience I prefer virtual keyboards because I like the fact that I can swap one keyboard out for another, but that's just me.

    What's your preferred SMS App?

I use Textra because it has certain customization options that I haven't found in other SMS apps. For example, when I got my Nexus 5 hooked up MTS, I could send and receive MMSs, but not if I was on Wifi. Somehow having WiFi enabled would screw things up for me. I've come to the conclusion that...

Does Moto G(2014) supports UHS enabled micro sd cards?

On the Motorola website, they say that the card will work on the device, but it doesn't support UHS-1 speeds. I read some comments below and there are people saying that their UHS-1 cards are not working on the phone at all, and are giving them an error saying "Removed SD card".

Can't access TWRP on the Nexus 5

I'm running Android 4.4.4 on the Nexus 5 and I cannot access TWRP. I have followed the instructions to get there and it doesn't seem to work. I tried: (1) Turning off the phone, turning it on and pressing/holding Power + Volume Up/Down and then choosing recovery. (2) Going into terminal and...
