Well... Follow my screen captures.... On Wifi tap on the tree dots, select Advanced WiFi. Go to DualBand AP connection settingss and allow your phone to search for 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz bands.

@adam_kay Yes, but on a different forum. Search on Google for "how to revert lg g3 to stock" and you will find a method and a how to tutorial. You'll get a non-rooted g3.

It all has to to with the way the HDD is formatted. Being a big beast I'm pretty sure it has an NTFS file structure. Android only recognisez Fat32. Try formatting an USB memory stick / or card in NTFS and you will see that Android does not recognize it.

Had the same issue. I had a corrupt gmail account which was causing a lot of issues. The solution was to create a new gmail account, delete all the contacts from the faulty one, leaving it without contacts for a week and then... Restoring the contacts from a backup I made.
