OK I have proved my theory. If you have a case containing a magnetic clasp the nfc will presume that you are trying to send data to another device. Hope that this helps everyone.

If you have a case containing a clasping magnet, ie, a wallet case. The nfc will pick up a potential devise to start a transfer of data. This is why my note 3 was constantly chiming and vibrating every 3 sec as long as the screen was active. Hope this helps. Go to ssettings-devise-devise-NFC...
