    System Memory Issue?

Thank you so much for digging this up. Although it is unfortunate to lose a chunk of storage, at least we can feel at ease since this is normal. I just wanted to make sure my phone wasn't infected or storing unneeded files. Thanks!

    System Memory Issue?

Yeah. Here's the screen. Unfortunately, the phone doesn't let me detail the "system memory" section. Thank you everybody for trying to help.

    System Memory Issue?

I get the difference and agree. However, Samsung is listing it that way. I am specifically using "system memory" and showing the picture to figure out if somehow mine is corrupted or abnormal. Thanks for any help.

    System Memory Issue?

Is this the case for others? Do most have about 19GB of system memory? I'd imagine my system memory should be similar regardless of the 512 GB capacity. It seems I have an extra 30GB that are unaccounted for. Should I worry?

    System Memory Issue?

Thanks. Already uninstalled Facebook. I am just looking at that system memory of 48 GB and thinking Android used to have a much smaller footprint. It was a quarter of the size on my s6. Has it become like Windows? If I only got the 128GB version, I'd basically have the same amount of...

    System Memory Issue?

Any thoughts if something is wrong? Here's a picture showing system memory. If it matters, it is a Verizon phone.

    System Memory Issue?

My system memory is showing about 48 GB. I have about 50GB of my own pics, videos, etc. imported from prior phone. I am using over 100 GB total already coming from a 64 GB phone. Can this be right? Thanks!

Restoring Custom Android Ringtones and Text Alerts after Factory Reset

Also having issue downloading and updating apps in Google Play store. It says I'm signed in and shows my apps but an error comes up every time I try to update any of them. Tried setting Home as trusted place and says it is already set up. However, makes me put in fingerprint or pin every time...

Restoring Custom Android Ringtones and Text Alerts after Factory Reset

Was all saved on Google Contacts. That is why I'm perplexed. Maybe because I signed in to Samsung when booted up phone and skipped signing into Google until after restored from Smart Switch?

Factory Reset Deleted 10 Gift Cards Bought on Samsung Pay

Understood but figured since I bought on Samsung Pay signed into the account that Samsung Pay would keep them available to the App once signed in. Oh well, it's the least of my problems restoring things now!

Restoring Custom Android Ringtones and Text Alerts after Factory Reset

I originally assigned tones to certain contacts. I just tried a factory reset to fix a text crashing issue I've had since update. I restored using Smart Switch (now learned it needs a lot more work to make this seamless) and all tones are set to default. Is there a way to get them back or do...

Factory Reset Deleted 10 Gift Cards Bought on Samsung Pay

I bought 10 gift cards on Samsung Pay and would easily pull them up to pay with phone. I reset phone to clear some bugs and had to set up Samsung Pay again. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that the cards I bought are automatically associated with my account. Do I have to get the information...
