    Seidio 1750 Users

Just to be clear, I am not "advertising" - I am trying to help. I used the 1750 battery for a week - couldn't get better results than the 1500 I owned and couldn't figure out why... I have nothing to gain - I am not advertising on my site, not getting money for ads - its about the data - the...

    Seidio 1750 Users

Everyones usage will tell their own story on the battery - but I must admit - after testing - I don't really believe that the SEIDIO 1750mAh is really rated at 1750mAh - read through my blog I posted to place the data from the testing I did - > Conclusion / Summary From This Round… – Randomness...

    questions regarding Bump Charging

I still think the bump charge is needed - regardless how you charge the phone - I think the same method of charging is happening while the phone is on or off that gets you to a certain charged rate - then - and only then - you unplug and plug it back in and then it charges again. This is the...

    This CAN'T be right....

Thanks for the links, I'm familiar with the battery university pages - My point is just that there isn't anything running to document the charge while its OFF. So the phone running while charging will help it understand and set this calibration point vs the phone being off and when the phone...

    This CAN'T be right....

Whoa... I never said I didn't believe you - there is a difference in not believing you and questioning who or what is documenting the full charge with the phone off. While the phone is off, the lowest level of what I would call "power micro code" is controlling and monitoring the current...

    This CAN'T be right....

How would it do that with the phone off ? Isn't the data saved on the phone - If the phone is off I don't think it would write anything to keep track of the charge.

    questions regarding Bump Charging

Wait what ? If the phone, requires 1A, which it says, in the fine print of the phone behind the battery, and you decide to to use a charger that DOESNT SUBMIT 1A Current - then how the heck could the phone work as expected - when the phone doesnt get the current its expecting. The bottom line...

2600 mAh battery won't fully charge?

Can you try multiple bump charges and see waht happens ? First bump charge might take 40 mins, then the next might take 20 or so... the top off current on the higher capacity batteries is harder to keep going to keep the battery to top off... Obviously, the cell might just be a garbage cell...

    This CAN'T be right....

Sorry, the SEIDIO battery is not 1750mAh compared to your stock 1300 mAh battery and other HTC batteries I got to test.. Conclusion / Summary From This Round… – Randomness & Photography A bump charge is ABSOLUTLEY needed to bring the battery to its fullest capacity possible. (but even then it...

    questions regarding Bump Charging

Yes, which was why I noted in the post that the radio is on (for GPS I meant) so that its still on and running - like it would - if I were moving. Whats missing would be the graphics changing and CPU/GPU cycles to handle the changing of the screens and combination of data downloading...

SEIDIO 1750mAh vs. HTC OEM Batteries...

Well the C rate is tough to decipher because of the cut off voltage. The phone thinks batteries are dead when they hit 3.5 volts. When I run the SEIDIO battery at a 1.750 A Discharge where do I place the cut off voltage ? at 0 ? do I go lower than the circuitry will allow and let the circuitry...

Anyone selling/returning their Incredible for the Droid X?

I'm a little frustrated with HTC and the Droid Incredible. If I can convince management I need the Droid X for something and they pay for it - then I am switching... If I sell camera lens or camera and have some cash - then I might buy it outright... but I am very annoyed - and am willing...

    questions regarding Bump Charging

Absolutely, 100% correct. You MUST use a 1A or better 5v charger in the car. I was using my 500mAh BB charger for the longest time. Ran navigation for an hour trying to get somewhere and BLAMMO - dead phone. I since moved to a 850mAh Charger (because I've had some issues locating a GOOD 1A...

SEIDIO 1750mAh vs. HTC OEM Batteries...

It's tough really. I've still been testing the batteries and can't get the SEIDIO 1750 to rate higher than the previously posted results. The OEM batteries seem to retain very close to their rated if not above values... Obviously your experience and phone variables are impossible duplicate -...
