Found not a permanent solution to totally get rid of it but actually a pretty good solution. First, push volume up or down buttons on the side of your phone and then hit the settings cog and choose to turn Media all the way down. You will need to turn it back up when you listen to music or...

Nope , That did not do it for me. I turned it off by going to "Accessibility"then "Hearing" and then "Turn off all sounds".That seemed to do the trick.

Tmobile is very spotty in my area as well. You may want to check AT&T 's coverage in your area. If AT&T has good coverage, Switching to Net10 might be the best thing for you unless your phone is locked to Tmobile.

I have an AT&T skyrocket on straight talk. I'm having data issues and MMS issues. All of my apn settings are are correct. Sometimes the data works sometimes it just doesn't. Is anyone else having this problem on Straight Talk ?Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? Thanks!
