I hate to be a jerk and point this out, and I know it's very easy to get caught up in the excitement of buying something shiny and new, BUT this is a question that one should ask PRIOR to purchasing. That said, as far as I can tell, OnePlus has a decent reputation in terms of build quality.

Hmmmm, just tested on a Pixel running 7.1.2 and custom ringtones work just fine. Motorola has their own forums, with sections for each device. Perhaps post there and see if others with a G4 are experiencing the same thing.

How and where are the ringtones that you want to use STORED? Does this work with using ALTERNATE but STOCK ringtones? Or are you trying to use music files that you put on the device?

Just noticed that my device has the NMF26F version with the Dec security update this morning (I'm in the Beta program). So far, seems just as nice as the previous version....fast and smooth.

Have you tried safe mode? Did you disable auto restore before doing g the FDR? Did you run the phone without adding apps for a while?

Ditto. Love this feature with the 5X as I don't have to actually pick up the phone--just tip is slightly for a peek.

Re: Preorder /order/shipping thread I think some of that decision depends on if you want insurance. With Fi you can pay monthly, but when you buy thru the Google Store, you pay all at once.

By the time you get to the phone screen? Isn't the phone screen ON TOP when the phone is ringing? A small local bank may not have the resources to keep up with current APIs.... For everything you need to know about the 5X (including user how-to's), you can start on the LG website here...

Have you tried safe mode? I use Chrome without issues, so I doubt it is that app. FB is a known resource hog, and if I'm not mistaken MANY apps use and/or access Google services.
