Google did just put out a software update. Just go to settings scroll to bottom where it says About, press it, then press update.

Everybody listen. I broke down finally and did a factory reset. It worked. You will not lose anything if you do an HTC Backup and Reset which is in your settings. All my photos and videos were saved and loaded back exactly the same once I entered my Google account. All my contacts were saved...

T-Mobile. I spoke with them and they said that Google is working on an update to fix.

My HTC ONE is saying that the Location service is off also, and just as everyone else, the Location service is checked on position. Phone is only one month old.
