Also FYI, I have a AVH-4200NEX (V1.6) and a Pixel running 8.0. Android Auto works perfect until the HU warms up for an hour or two and then it will crash, reset, and crash again until USB is disconnected. Obviously a bad HU but now I own a lot USB C cables I did not really need. Guess that old...

I tried all the solutions except downloading twikmot's apk. The one that fixed it for me was adding the United Kingdom Language to my Pixel XL in Settings/Language & Input/Languages.

Hi, My Gear S2 has been doing exactly the same thing since the last update. As soon as I notice the battery is draining too fast, I do a factory reset and a restore then the problem is fixed for 1 to 2 weeks. Restore works fairly well so at least there is a 3 minute fix to get back the 1.5 day...
