Did you get it from an AT&T store or any tangible location? If you did, you can just bring it back and rant about it until they replace it for you. I think the general gist of most if not all electronics, is to charge when in the red or even when being notified. Letting it die is probably not a problem; more so an inconvenience though; the device will probably automatically put itself on standby anyway. Charging the phone is like feeding...

I just have to say..SCREW YOU AT&T!..now that that's out of my system. I wish there were some better data plans available. I don't think I'll be a heavy data user. I'll mostly be in Wi-Fi areas. Its funny how most people are grandfathered in with unlimited data. I'm like the only one...
